This is the place for you if you have tried so hard to win at “keep the screens away” and feel like you are failing. This is the place for you if your child won’t read on their own. This is the place for you if getting your kids to read just seems like too high of a mountain to climb and you feel like giving up.
I’d like a chance to help you and your family connect with stories and books in a new way. A way that allows you to strike a balance between technology time and screen-free time without feeling like you have to bribe your children to read. Part of this process is looking at our own relationships with technology. The other part is being able to meet our children where they are right at this moment, and taking realistic steps to literacy one day at a time.
I can’t promise I will turn your children into book nerds like me. (My kids aren’t even that extreme!) However, what I can do is show you some approaches that have worked for me and offer new perspectives to give you a “jump start” to literacy for the whole family.

Summer Camps
Beyond the Story Summer Camp invites your student on an engaging week-long adventure delving into the world of a featured children’s chapter book. Through a highly interactive, multi-subject approach, participants will explore the book’s themes, characters, and lessons, fostering a love for reading and learning in a fun environment.

One-on-one consulting is a personalized and effective way to support your child’s literacy development. I provide customized consulting services that cater to your child’s unique needs and learning style.
