The Wild Robot Escapes
By Peter Brown
Can a wild robot learn to live in the world of humans?
Roz was “born” on an island and learned to live a wild life with her animal friends. She even became a mother! As The Wild Robot ends, Roz leaves the island on an airship determined to fix her broken body and return home. But her mission is not as easy as you might think!
The Wild Robot Escapes is the story of a robot torn between two worlds. Roz was designed to work alongside humans and robots and to live in the civilized world. But her computer brain never forgets the perfect memories of her old life on the island. With motherhood already in her programming, she meets new characters and learns to care about them. But always there is the longing for her son and her home. Roz must discover for herself where she truly belongs.
